Privacy Policy

What PetCourt collects

PetCourt may collect account information such as your email address, pet photos and case details you choose to submit, public jury votes and comments, purchase and entitlement information, and basic technical information needed to operate and protect the service.

How information is used

We use information to create and store PetCourt cases, generate personalized digital content, provide account access, process purchases, deliver premium files, operate public jury features, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve the service.

Public case content

Cases marked public can be viewed and shared by anyone with the case link and may be indexed by search engines. Public case pages can include the pet's name, species, alleged fictional charge, generated mugshot, jury totals, and public comments. Do not submit information you do not want displayed publicly.

Marketing and personalized advertising

PetCourt does not require advertising consent to use the service. If you opt in, PetCourt may use your account email and activity within PetCourt to personalize offers or create matched advertising audiences with advertising platforms. Identifiers may be normalized or hashed before being sent where the platform supports that method. You can withdraw this optional consent from your PetCourt account settings.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. PetCourt does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Stripe may collect payment, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Service providers

PetCourt uses service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, image generation, payment processing, security, and related infrastructure. Information is shared with those providers only as needed to operate PetCourt.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account, case, and purchase records as needed to provide the service, maintain purchased access, prevent fraud and abuse, satisfy legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may contact PetCourt support to request help with your account or content.

Children

PetCourt is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to PetCourt, contact support.
